Sprouts Farmers Market has secured a new 180,000-square-foot corporate headquarters campus in North Phoenix, significantly expanding its operational space. The new location will feature a four-story office building, a flagship store, and various amenities designed to accommodate its growing workforce, which currently operates nearly 450 stores across 24 states. Construction is expected to begin in May 2025, with completion anticipated by August 2026.
Sprouts Farmers Market has finalized a deal for a new corporate headquarters campus, significantly expanding its operational space in North Phoenix. The planned campus will cover 180,000 square feet and will be located on a seven-acre site within the CityNorth development, situated near the intersection of 56th Street and the Loop 101.
The new headquarters will consist of a four-story building measuring 144,500 square feet, which is designed to accommodate the company’s growing workforce. In addition to the corporate office, the facility will include a 25,000-square-foot flagship Sprouts store, supporting retail operations directly on site.
As part of the development, Sprouts will also integrate a three-story parking garage alongside two smaller structures measuring 6,000 and 4,800 square feet, which are intended for food, beverage, or retail concepts. This relocation from their current 96,000-square-foot headquarters, which has been utilized since 2015 across two buildings, indicates a strategic move to enhance both space and functionality for the company.
The project was brokered by JLL’s Regan Amato and Jonathan Keyser, who secured the site through a long-term credit tenant lease with U.S. Realty Advisors. The land was sold to Sprouts by Crown Realty Group, which is responsible for the CityNorth development. Trammell Crow will oversee the construction of the new headquarters, with Wespac serving as the general contractor and RSP Architects designing the project.
The new headquarters aims to better support Sprouts’ expanding corporate team, which is currently operating nearly 450 stores across 24 states and has ambitious plans to open at least 35 more locations by the end of 2025. To promote a collaborative and modern work environment, the new campus will feature various amenities, including:
The CityNorth development is part of a broader initiative that reflects Crown Realty’s vision of creating a health-focused, live-work-play destination in a rapidly evolving area of Phoenix. The site is in proximity to key amenities, including Desert Ridge and a $2 billion expansion of the Mayo Clinic, which is indicative of the area’s growing significance.
Construction of the new corporate campus is slated to commence in May 2025, with an anticipated completion and move-in date of August 2026. The new campus is part of a larger trend among corporations to enhance their work environments, focusing on employee experience and community integration while continuing to meet the needs of an expanding business.
