Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a driver involved in a fatal crash that occurred on April 8 in Phoenix. The incident, which took place around 5 p.m. near 18th and Willeta streets, resulted in the death of 20-year-old Michael Ochoa.

The vehicle associated with the crash is described as a black Dodge Ram 4500 tow truck that bears no markings. Officials believe the truck may have sustained damage to the driver’s side during the collision. To aid in the investigation, authorities are urging anyone with potential information regarding the incident to reach out to Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. Tips can be provided anonymously, and callers may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.

Silent Witness Program

Arizona’s Silent Witness program is designed to help citizens provide information related to crimes without revealing their identities. Tips received through this program are directed to the detectives managing the respective cases. The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with trained personnel answering calls. In addition to phone calls, individuals can submit tips through the Silent Witness app or their online platform.

Other Traffic Incidents in Phoenix

35th Avenue and Buckeye Road. This accident resulted in one car landing on its roof, causing injuries to three people: two men and a two-year-old boy, all of whom were hospitalized and reported to be in stable condition. Fortunately, no extrication was necessary following this crash.

Additionally, another significant collision took place near 16th Street and Jefferson Street. This two-car crash resulted in serious injuries, with one victim in their 60s reported as being in extremely critical condition and two others in critical condition as well. Authorities are continuing their investigation into this incident to ascertain the circumstances surrounding it.

Fatalities and Additional Crashes

4:35 a.m., and authorities are investigating the details of that incident as well.

43rd Avenue and Osborn Road, where a pedestrian was struck and killed while attempting to cross the street outside of designated crosswalks. According to police, impairment does not appear to have played a role in this tragic accident.
