The Concours in the Hills car show, held on April 19 at Fountain Park, successfully raised over $437,000 for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The funds were generated through a combination of sponsorships, vehicle registrations, vendor contributions, and individual donations, reinforcing community support for pediatric healthcare.

This year marked the 11th anniversary of the event, organized by Discount Tire. It showcased more than 1,000 vehicles from diverse categories, including European, Domestic, Asian, Race Cars, Off-Road vehicles, and Motorcycles, drawing significant interest from car enthusiasts and families alike.

Proceeds from the car show will directly benefit the Phoenix Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and the Cardiothoracic Surgery Support Fund. The overwhelming support from the community and sponsors has been vital in enhancing resources for children and families in need of critical care.

A special display at the event featured ultra-rare vehicles, such as one of only two Koenigsegg Trevita, a road-legal Gumpert Apollo, and a 1962 Ferrari 250 GT SWB, which won the prestigious Best of Show title. Other notable awards included:

Community Involvement and Support

The Concours in the Hills event included over 85 sponsor booths showcasing local and regional businesses, as well as a variety of food vendors offering refreshments to attendees. The opening ceremony featured several retired professional drivers, enhancing the event’s prestige. The program was smoothly emceed by Darin Roberge of Motorwërks Marketing.

The Concours in the Hills has grown significantly since its inception in 2014, where it began with only 220 vehicles and around 3,000 spectators. Hosted by Phoenix Children’s Hospital and supported by its auxiliary group, PCH50, the event aims to foster community engagement while enhancing pediatric healthcare.
