Evelyn has amassed over 230 community service hours through her involvement in the National Honor Society. Her hard work has not gone unnoticed, as she has been recognized twice with the National Community Service Honor Award.

Addressing Arizona’s Teacher Shortage

Governor Doug Ducey established the Arizona Teachers Academy in 2017 to tackle the shortage, leading to almost 3,300 students enrolling in the scholarship program annually.
